The Youth Mentoring Trust was started in June 2010.

It holds accreditation from Child Youth and Family as a service provider.

Youth Mentoring Trust operates a volunteer mentoring service with volunteers from the community stepping up to receive training and then to offer a mentoring relationship to young people (mentee's) aged between 8 and 18.

These volunteers come in all shapes and sizes and we offer both female and male mentors for mentees of the same gender. Our 'worth their weight in gold' mentors receive some mileage and a small expense account for their work with their mentees
